01
Who we are
Denrow LLC is a financial and strategic advisory practice licensed in the UAE (free zone licence no. 2539954.01). We decide how your personal data is used, so we are its “controller” under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, the “PDPL”).
For anything in this policy, contact connect@denrow.co.
02
What we collect
When you email us or send us a note. Your name, email address, company and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you book a service. We use third-party service providers to schedule the booking and take payment. They collect your name, email address, the time you choose and your answers to our booking questions. We never see your full card details.
When we work together. You may share financial statements, models, contracts and other business documents. These can contain personal data about you, your staff, your customers or your shareholders.
When you visit the website. Our website host processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our website host counts visits without cookies, in a way that does not identify you.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use other analytics tools, tracking pixels or chat tools.
03
Why we use it, and on what basis
The PDPL allows us to use personal data with your consent, or without it in specific cases the law lists. We rely on the following:
Replying to your enquiry. Your consent, given when you contact us.
Booking and running a session or engagement. Performing our contract with you.
Invoices, accounts and tax records. Meeting our obligations under other UAE laws.
Complaints and claims. Establishing or defending our rights.
Delivering and securing the website. [CONFIRM: basis]
Occasional updates about our services, if we start a mailing list. Only if you opt in. Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We use client files only to do the work you engaged us for. Our scope of work and terms of business, shared with you, also apply.
04
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
Service providers that help us run the practice: for bookings and payments, website hosting, email, file storage, video calls and invoicing.
Our professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where needed.
Authorities, when UAE law requires it.
Anyone else only with your agreement, for example a partner you ask us to work with.
05
Transfers outside the UAE
Some of our providers store data outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union. The PDPL allows this where the destination gives adequate protection, or where there are safeguards such as contract terms, or with your consent. We use providers that publish their security and data protection terms.
06
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work: 12 months after our last contact.
Client and engagement records: we keep your personal data for the minimum period required under applicable law. After this period, your personal data will be deleted or securely archived to comply with legal obligations or applicable statutory limitation periods.
Website technical data: for as long as our website host keeps it under its own terms.
When we no longer need data, we delete it or make it anonymous.
07
How we protect it
Within Denrow, only consultants allocated to your file have access to your data. Two-step sign-in is in place on every account. When using external service providers acting as processors, we require that they meet the same standards as Denrow in compliance with local and international regulations. No system is completely secure. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the UAE Data Office as the PDPL requires.
08
Your rights
Under the PDPL you can ask us to:
tell you what data we hold about you, why we hold it and who we share it with
give you a copy of your data, or send it to another provider where this is technically feasible
correct data that is wrong
delete data, for example where you withdraw consent or the use is unlawful
restrict how we use it, for example while you dispute its accuracy
stop using it for marketing
have a person review any automated decision about you. We do not make automated decisions about people.
You can also withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email connect@denrow.co. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We aim to reply within 30 days. Some rights have limits, for example where UAE law requires us to keep records.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the applicable laws, please contact our team to raise your concern or complaint: connect@denrow.co
